Why wasn't the most impressive car you've ever driven yours?

Iwillwait · M
Because I value having no car payments.
@Iwillwait

My credo as well. My current car was a daily rental.
Iwillwait · M
@rinkydinkydoink Mine may have been as well. Not sure.

Drove my bosses Lincoln Town Car a Mark 4 when I was in my 20s was the most expensive and biggest domestic car you could own. He had me drive it while he looked over some business papers looked and I was doing almost 80 in a 55 mph zone on a country highway never noticed it was a smooth ride!
@2ndtimeguy

That's when Lincoln's were something to behold!
Because I couldn’t afford it, a Mercedes S550 4matic sedan. Or the M5 BMW , it was a customer car, the owner let me take it for a drive.
@Onestarlitnight

You must have an honest face!
Iwillwait · M
@Onestarlitnight A beast of a car. I always loved the AMG S550

I got to drive steam power car from 1800s for about 30 minutes for a steam show parade. Because I the owner was too old drive it.

My buddy knew the family and talk to them. That very moment I was getting a crash course on how to operations of this car.

I had the time of my life. Too bad steam didn't stick around
@HumanEarth

That sounds like an amazing adventure.

Because I can't afford it.

@rinkydinkydoink One of the best Bentley's.
@Nitedoc

Oh my gosh! I watched a "How It's Made" video on Bentleys. They are built with great care.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@rinkydinkydoink They are very nice. Expensive too.
Markmywurdz · 56-60, M
It was someone else’s rally car.
@Markmywurdz

Interesting. A Lancia, maybe?
Markmywurdz · 56-60, M
@rinkydinkydoink Sadly not. It was a Group N Golf Gti.
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
The dealership paid me to fix and drive it, not buy it. 😂
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I couldn't resist. Someone left the keys in it.
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
@Havesomefun2
