The amazing thing about electric cars are it take same fossil fuel if not more,to charge them. Where do they think that power comes from?
senghenydd · M
@Applepiedom eventually sustainable power will power these cars but that's a long way off.

@senghenydd agree it might but so far off.

@Applepiedom The FREE WORLD is in trouble with what's happening in Eastern Europe.

@senghenydd yup especially with Biden making u.s. energy dependant on foreign sources again. Ex.1.89$ a gallon. Trump

@Applepiedom i like the idea of cyclical charging strategy. E-cars are just like combustion cars: people use them 20% of the working day. while a fully charged car is parked not in use : purchase the idle e-car battery power from the owner and return it back to the grid.

@Applepiedom I filled up yesterday Petrol £1.65p a Litre and that's for E-10 E-5 is about 10p a Litre more.

@senghenydd I filled up the other day for 120$ at 5.25 $ a gallon.
Our e 85 fuel gets approx 20% less miles per gallon so......
Now 120$ for approximately 2 weeks of driving. About 22 miles per gallon

@Applepiedom Yes Petrol is getting expensive I filled up yesterday I bought 6 litres of E-5 paid £1.75p for my m/bike and also bought 38 litres of E-10 for my car paid £1.65p not only is petrol getting expensive I believe there'll be a shortage before long I have a sneeky feeling, I along with most people hav e always taken fuel for granted.

@senghenydd well born in the 60s and remember the gas shortages is the early 70s. People lining up at pumps and stations turning people away.
U.S. was off the dependency of foreign oil during Trump. Now Biden has us even more dependent than ever.

@Applepiedom There's a mad rush to sort out supplies of fuel and get sustainable energy resources up and running Italy has done a deal with Algeria for Gas.
Applepiedom · 56-60, M
@senghenydd lol I remember when Algeria was the bad guys. I think I read u.s. was to work with Argentina
senghenydd · M
@Applepiedom It's going to be a mad scramble to get Gas.
History repeats itself.

@senghenydd especially if we don't learn from the past.
