Fuel, Gasoline, Petrol, Diesel

Two advantages of not being able to drive an automobile. One, being that I don't need to concern myself with the ever-rising cost of petrol. And the other, is that by walking and running to where I want to go, It's not just a way of doing the environment a favor, but also good exercise.

Not all of us want to live in a city. Please spare us the greenie bullshit. We all know climate change is natural and pushing manmade climate change is a gov control tactic.

Fun fact: The sun is increasing in luminosity over time, and is subsequently increasing the temp of the earth as an example. That's real science and not gov propaganda.
@ShadowWolf Yes, the Sun will make it hotter and hotter and will one day engulf the entire planet, when it becomes a red giant in about 5 billion years
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Exactly. Every year the sun becomes brighter and hotter, even just leading up to the 5 billion year mark when the Earth will get consumed. Let's not forget, even just solar flares, space gamma radiation, supernovea explosions millions of light years away, etc all create changes in climate. Man made climate change is a farce.

remember that when you can no longer afford food, goods, etc. due to inflation and the increased cost to transport them to you...

@wildbill83 Thanks for the tip, but at present, I'm still currently able to afford it. Besides, what am I gonna put a few gallons of petrol in? I don't have an automobile.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
I prefer to ride my bike then drive my car most of the time.

Very cool Mr. Winder!

BTW, I'll be picking up that girl you fancy in my Cadillac tomorrow night. We're going to a steakhouse for dinner - to eat cow.

@Budwick you are my fathers age and get enjoy many perks no longer exist😔

@Sidewinder
I don't have a girlfriend
The girlfriend was made up - just like your Green Weenie story.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@Budwick "Green weenie?" That's a terminology I've never heard before. Now you've got the wheels in my head turning. For all I know, a "green weenie" could mean a hot dog smothered in nothing but relish, green onions and pickles. But that's getting off topic.

many of us cant afford to live near work...used commute 60 miles a day. now only 30 miles
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@1490wayb I understand. That's why I live in a small town. Where I live, it's an hour long walk to my place of work and an hour long walk back. Two hour round trip, altogether.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
@Sidewinder get electric scooter \moped
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
I'm not legally allowed to drive. Besides, walking and running keep me fit while getting me from point A to point B. Plus, I can get a year's worth of mileage out of a good pair of running shoes.
You don't have to worry about the rising cost until you buy anything. Anything you buy is going to be affected by the price of crude, either by way of manufacturing, storage, transportation, etc.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Point taken. But to clarify, I meant that I don't have to concern myself with the purchase of petrol, since I haven't an automobile to put it in.
