I'm secretly nervous to drive, but I want my license so badly

I don't drive much because I don't have my license yet, but I do get pretty paranoid and nervous when I am even practicing how to drive even though here and where I practice doesn't have any freeways. I imagine that I will be just as afraid once I start on the freeway

No-I think a lot are. For a number of reasons. Some regarding health issues that are not stable. The risk of a panic attack for instance. Or a seizure by one who may have light seizures under control--but yet one sneaks in now and then.

I used to when I first started driving. Not so much anymore. I work for a waste services company I have to navigate around the parking lot with 18 wheelers, dump trucks and packers driving into and out of the lot to get loaded. So I'm pretty used to it now

You're not the only one. One of my granddaughters, 20, does not care to drive. She will if she has to but otherwise takes public transport.

no, youre not the only one, i dont drive, i got a permit one time, never felt comfortable behind the wheel so i never went for my license

No, you're not. I never was completely comfortable driving. And while I know how, whenever I can avoid it, I do.
