My mom said she'd drive my man to and from his new job

We were all talking about it during our lunch break and I mentioned driving Desmond to and from work myself (he has a driver's license, but not his own vehicle.) But since he's going to be working at the same complex my mom works at, my mom's all "Why don't I just take him to and from work?" I suppose that would make more sense than me doing it, lol. Especially since I sometimes get out of work early. Plus, Desmond's still living with my parents, so... That's awful sweet of my mom, anyway. Even if she's doing it more as a matter of convenience than a nice gesture.
