So, friend may get a driving ban if...

So, i used to being in the car as passanger with my friend. Drove normally for years till a few days ago. Tells me he is dying of liver failure, which is true. However, he began to start driving reckless, speeding over 100 mph than should need to. Three times in a row... the first time, did not think much of it, second time ...it concerned me, and third time... i had to do a cam dash to record in private to get evidence that he speeding reckless for no regard for anyone else life on the road..

So, I'm debating whenever or not i should tell the DVLA about his health condition that may cause him to crash and possibly kill someone else along with him.. i have the footage..... if I dob him in ... it will make me a shitty friend if I don't... someone could potentially die and I could had done something to prevent it..

I imagine he’s in a bad place right now. Give support as a friend to try and help him see a bit of sense. I wouldn’t report him tbh, you will be a shit friend. Just have an honest conversation like why were you driving like that and is he not worried about the consequences for other road users

@GLITTER I should talk to him, but what if he brushes it off as no big deal. I mean. Ugh, i guess ill speak to him first before I make any decisions

@RadioDust maybe set a boundary like we’re talking about this now but in the future if I see this again I have no other choice but to let someone know about it

Talk to him about his driving, he's driving a loaded weapon, it can kill him or others. Yes, he's terminal and may not care if he passes, but what about the others? If he kills another, it effects the family members and their lives change that day with the loss of their loved one. That person maybe a mum or a dad, brother, sister, it's someone's child ..

Try to reason with him, but if he doesn't change you should report him. 100mph is extreme and criminal, health condition or no health condition.

You need to tell him that he needs to stop or you will have to report him for being a reckless dangerous driver 😳
