Do you drive the car you have most wanted, or only what you could afford at the time you bought it?

I used to borrow my parents' car, often, but then they helped me buy the car I liked most, at the local car showroom.

I actually have no idea what car I want the most. We have a Lincoln MKX and that is the car best suited for our needs.

@Musicman We have one as well. It has been pretty reliable.

@LunarOrbit Ours has too and we can flat tow it behind our motorhome. 🙂🙂🙂

@Musicman How do you disconnect the driveshaft on those. Key?

@LunarOrbit Are you referring to putting the car in tow mode?
LunarOrbit · 61-69, M
@Musicman Yes.

@LunarOrbit Here are the steps.
1. Put car in park and turn off the engine.
2. Turn on accessory mode.
3. Put foot in brake and put car in neutral.
4. Push the neutral button a second time. The N should be flashing at you.
5. Turn car off.
You had better be hooked up to the RV for towing because you are in neutral and will roll freely now. Here is a picture of us hooked up and ready to tow. If you zoom in you can see the tow bars.

@Musicman Very nice rig.
The reason I asked is that some vehicles can disconnect the drivetrain with your key. Theres a small keyhole in the console. I just learned this recently.

@LunarOrbit I had no idea. And thank you very much 🙂 Of course when you go to unhook the car when you get to your destination make sure you start it and put it in park first. I almost learned this lesson the hard way. Lol!!!

@Musicman I can imagine what a surprise that would be. We’ve all had them one way or another. Enjoy and safe travels
