Not sure where you are in SoCal but there's a TON of well maintained forest roads in Los Padres, the Angeles NF, the San Bernardinos and Cleveland NF that don't require modified 4x4's. You can easily get to some really sweet spots if you want. Enjoy the new ride.
@Ynotisay thank you! I live in Orange County… Not much off Roading to be done around here, but that suits me just fine. I didn’t actually mean to get an all-wheel-drive car, it just turned out that all Venza are, lol.
@Zaphod42 It's a really good feature to have. A little different than 4x4 but it opens up a lot of opportunities if you want. Enjoy the killer gas mileage.
@Ynotisay Oh, AWD is a lot different than 4x4, lol. It’s much like how I can slide the shifter left of drive into a select shift 6 speed, but that is in no way an actual manual transmission, lol.

For a while I did have purple hair just for fun. I miss it, but I’m 50 now and that would just look stupid…as opposed to when I was 30 😂
I don’t think surfing and I would mix…bad back, weak knees, seriously lazy, and not willing to shell out almost as much for a board as I did for my car 🤣
