Car with 3 months mot

I’m interested in buying a car with 3 months mot left on the car but the previous 6 years the car has passed the mot with no problem. Does anyone think it’s worth buying?

What is MOT?

@Musicman in the UK every vehicle needs a certificate of road worthyness each year.
You take your vehicle to a mechanic qualified in testing your vehicle for said certificate and they test everything from tyre pressure and tread to emissions; lights; brakes; clutch etc.
If your vehicle passes you get your certificate known as an M.o.T.
Issued on behalf of the Ministry of Transport.
If your vehicle fails, technically you can't drive it away it needs to be towed.
Driving a vehicle without an MoT invalidates your insurance and cops just lurve nabbing people without correct documents

@Musicman The MOT test (or simply MOT) is an annual test of vehicle safety, roadworthiness aspects and exhaust emissions required in the United Kingdom

@Picklebobble2 @nedkelly Okay. We just called it your annual safety inspection. For being the hassle it is I do think it's necessary.
