@Fullmetal I think that is great advice for anyone who is outdoors in areas that have top predators like grizzley bear, mountain lions, and wolves. I also think it's a really bad idea to jog or ride bikes on wilderness trails or trails with known populations of them. The fast movement can trigger their instinct to pursue fleeing pray. It has happened several times in several western states in the past few years. Leave the earbuds at home , take a large caliber handgun, or at least some bear spray, stay keenly aware of your surroundings and enjoy America's abundant wilderness areas, state and national parks.
