Are crash course driving lessons worth it

Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Hard to say.
It's long been thought that driving instructors are supposed to take you through the basics and then help you implement the driving theory to the practicality of it.

Now in theory, how long this takes this will vary from driver to driver.
Some will pick it up easily and some won't.
Some will be ready for a test quite quickly, some won't and so extra lessons required.

But supposing Instructors have no intention of putting you forward for a test. Supposing you are seen as a guaranteed cash-cow as long as you keep stumping up the lesson fee ?
That's how intensive courses started.

According to the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) website, they reckon it takes on average 47 lessons to make a learner driver test ready.
If that equates to 47 1 hour lessons, maybe an intensive course is the way to go.
