Sydney has one of the most intensive tolled road regimes of any major city on the planet.
There are 15 different tolled roads in Sydney currently and 13 of them are controlled by just one company - Transurban - which is linked to a former NSW liberal state premier from the late 1980's.
I never use toll roads and go out of my way to avoid them.
