The only thing drivers already on the highway have to do is make sure that they're not tailgating anyone.

So next time someone doesn't move over for you, you don't have to commit borderline insurance fraud by swerving in front of them and slamming on your breaks. Just be a sane person.👍

This is the kind of attitude that causes traffic backups and accidents. If traffic is so bad that a person has to stop to merge in, that is going to get nasty as well.

Nobody has to let you merge in, but the zipper action is the best way to keep traffic flowing. It's amazing how few people have the knowledge or how many just have a complete disregard for making things work well for everyone.

@ViciDraco Yeah nobody even knows what zipper merging is and people try to actively stop me from doing it because they think I'm being selfish.
