I ask because I think the British van-builder Commer, part of the Rootes Group, was Chrysler-owned in the 1960s, when it produced a van with a somewhat similar general outline. The Commer had a more rounded front, one-piece windscreen and slightly simpler side-panel profiles, but there do seem "family likenesses" in the vehicles' external appearances; suggesting the same designers.
I don't know that Didge van's machinery but the Commer had a 4-cylinder petrol engine, inclined, in-line and in a compartment between the front seats; linked by a 4-speed manual gearbox to the rear axle.
Our Dad had a motor-caravan based on a Commer van - still owned in the family - and I owned a basic Commer van for a couple of years or so.

Weird name for a car model, but I suppose no worse than "Up!" ( a VW model) or a bland number (Audi practice, but the early Fords were designated by random letters or numbers like 'T', 'A' and '8').
