Got a flat tire yesterday

I was driving into work and I was about a minute away and I hear this loud sound that sounded like at first it was coming from under the hood, so I drove the rest of the way to work because the car was still driving and moving, park my car, get out and looked at the rear passenger because that's where it sounded like the sound was starting to come from, sure enough flat tire. Took me a good hour just about to get it changed out, the maintenance guy at work had to help me with the hammer to bang it off cuz the tire was stuck.

Tore my hand all up over the whole thing, and while it was raining out too 😞

So even before I started work I had already exhausted myself.

I am SO sorry. I would never be able to change a tire, so you are amazingly talented!

at least some old lady didnt run into you and cave in your passenger door and back panel and set off your air bags (this happenned to me last week) thankfully no one was injured though only the cars. hope your hand heals up good.

And the tire was stuck because once it went flat and you kept driving on it you heated up the lug nuts and rim. Next time pull over and examine your car when you he a noise.

@WillaKissing I was almost to work, like a minute away. I didn't know what it was. If I'd had pulled over I might not have made it to work if it was an engine problem. And at work I had people helping me. Usually people on the side of the road don't get help by passerbys.

It's alright, getting the tire fixed should be able to put it back on later today.

@twiigss Well, only being a minute away from your workplace makes a huge difference too.

So you was tired after changing a tire🤭

@NinaTina Well, I was exhausted from trying to unscrew the dumb thing in the trunk to get to the tire iron and crank for the lift. It was so tight I had to run into work to get tools to undo it. I was also exhausted from trying to unscrew the lug nuts by hand, and then I was exhausted from trying to pull off the tire, all while being rained on.

@twiigss so now your working on the exhaust, and your tired lol

@Baremine it did for sure. I haven't had to change a tire in a very, very long time. I know how to do it still but it was a lot of work.
