Which would you choose?

I only have another week with a rental car to find a new , used car. I won't have transportation after that. Unfortunately all cars that are in my budget have about 110 k miles on it or more. The two I'm down to are a Chevy Malibu , but it had minor front and side damage. I'll ask what the repair was. And the other that is under 100k miles is a Chevy Cruze, but it was a rental. Both in very good condition.
I normally wouldn't choose a car with any prior damage, or a rental, but I'm in a time crunch. Which do you think would be the better choice?
A. Damage (past, minor) or B. Rental?

You should ask your mechanic if he knows anyone selling a car. He might, plus he probably knows the history of the car and probably worked on it himself. That's what I did many, many times when looking for a daily driver.
