Anyone know cars? .battery light on and Engine oil pressure light

My actual engine light has been on for a while but some told me it's probably a faulty computer thing if there's no sounds and it's running fine. Well now my battery light is on and Engine oil pressure light. The car won't start at all.. nothing.

Is it probably a dead battery? Now my hood won't pop open too. Occasionally it gets stuck and won't pop up. If I call AAA, could they somehow pop it open?? I'm so stressed if this is a battery issue or engine. Any ideas???

If battery light is on most likely alternator oil light is very serious who ever told you check light means faulty computer is dummer than a box of rocks It means something is failing or sensor has failed when it comes on the computer goes into limp home mode and assumes its very cold weather and makes engine run richer to compensate when light comes on go to any parts house and let them scan it for you for free.

Doesn't matter anymore, her car was wrecked a few days after this post was made. Totally demolished apparently, folded up like a cheap accordion after getting rear-ended, so the battery light is no longer an issue!

@swirlie It is fine in the front and even midway, but the back is pretty destroyed. I am wondering if they'll repair it or possibly replace the car.

@Coralmist most likely replace it and from what i read thats not a bad thing
as long as you weren't hurt thats the most important part .
