Anyone know cars? .battery light on and Engine oil pressure light

My actual engine light has been on for a while but some told me it's probably a faulty computer thing if there's no sounds and it's running fine. Well now my battery light is on and Engine oil pressure light. The car won't start at all.. nothing.

Is it probably a dead battery? Now my hood won't pop open too. Occasionally it gets stuck and won't pop up. If I call AAA, could they somehow pop it open?? I'm so stressed if this is a battery issue or engine. Any ideas???

It all starts with getting the hood open. Once you do check your engine oil. If it's not on the dip stick add oil until it is on the low mark. Once you get the car started take it to a shop you trust and have them look at it. They will find out what is wrong and get you going again. Driving a car with the engine light on for any length of time is not good and can result in extra expenses for you and or damage your engine. At the minimum it sounds like you need a oil change and a battery. That's why I said just make sure your oil level is at least up to the minimum mark. No need to add to much oil just so you can drain it back out when changing it. If your hood strut's won't hold the hood up any longer then have them replaced too.

@Musicman Ty Music. I just an oil change in late September so I don't believe it's an oil issue. It can go up to six months and only then do I need to add oil. It's really good in that regard. But I'll still check it .it should pop open overnight. Oh what a nuisance!!

@Coralmist I use to have what I call a weekend car. I rarely drove it and when I did it was only in good weather. I didn't put enough miles on it for a yearly oil change so every year I just changed it regardless. So you should easily be able to go a year if you don't drive much. I do oil changes every 5,000 miles.
