My '04 Subaru Legacy wagon 🥲 I put coilovers on it a week after buying it so I lowered it a few inches. 20 year old vehicle but still so clean.
Sadly, I don't have it anymore & I won't be driving again for a while 😔 but I'm already researching what I want next. I'm thinking maybe the 4th gen Legacy wagon or an Outback, maybe even a Forester.
Maybe even a Mercedes E class wagon if I can convince myself to buy a German vehicle 🤷 or just a Lexus sedan. I've been wanting one for a while. Likely an LS430. No matter what I buy though, I'm lowering the ride height.
Your SC2 is super clean for it's age. I can't see any obvious body or paint damage & even the trim looks well maintained. You can tell that car has always had a proud owner who took care of it

@ChiefJustWalks that's too bad you don't have the wagon anymore. I remember seeing you post about before and I thought it was a pretty cool ride.
And thanks. The previous owner took pretty good care of it, good enough that a dealership would take it off their hands. I'd like to mods to it but I'm not really a car guy

@caPnAhab yeah I'm bummed about it too 😔 it makes me sad sometimes.. but my family came first & it made the most sense to let it go. I just ease the pain by dreaming about my next ride 🙏
It probably holds its value a lot better since you haven't decided to mod it 🙂 you never see that car original & clean in today's market

Heavens no. Multiple minor accidents and an epic failed home dent repair kit has left it embarrassingly dented, rippled and duct-taped in one corner. It's embarrassing, but also drives just fine and at the age the car is, it isn't worth paying for extensive cosmetic bodywork.
We plan to buy new again, possibly sooner than later to avoid tariff price hikes; I imagine I'll be proud of that car as I once was when this old beat to hell car was new.

@Starcrossed personally, I think a bit of dings add character.. I wouldn't mind as long as they're totally superficial.
Hope you can get that new one soon though

Yes. My Chevy pickup is 22 years old and still runs great. I wash it once a year whether it needs it or not.

Just a 2017 Skoda - we like it

I haven’t owned a car in about 30 years now. And the only one I owned was kind of a "hoopty".
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard nice. how do you get around?
bijouxbroussard · F
@caPnAhab Public trans, Uber/Lyft, cabs. And my friends still drive.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard I understand. I can't actually drive yet, I ride a bike. Though I'm working it out to drive it, I know the appeal not to...

@DeWayfarer looks good. I heard Chevys are reliable

@caPnAhab some are some are not so much. This is a 2000 believe it or not and didn't have the problem with fuel injectors the newer after 2005 models.

🙂 I'd have to say yes. Especially my Tuesday ride.
They're all a little hard on gas, but overall have served me well.

We have a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass. It runs good and we’ve had it 24 years

No, not at all. I’m very utilitarian when it comes to objects.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@PalteseMalconFunch as long as it gets the job done
