My hood wont pop open
The latch in the car that you pull, wont pop it at all..no click nothing. Is there any trick or do I need to take it to mechanic?

@GovanDUNNY my hood alarm came on as I started the car today, saying it was propped open. So apparently it DID pop open after I went in the house last night, even though I had checked the hood several times, and the latch in the car was loose. So I closed the hood, and retried it, and the latch inside DOES work now!! So weird!!

@Coralmist if you had been driving before trying to open hood (bonnet) it could have been the heat of engine made it stick and it opened after the car cooled down.Did you sort engine oil and antifreeze and put some wd40 on hood catch under hood

@GovanDUNNY Oh maybe thats why it wasnt opening yesterday. But weird that the latch to pop it, inside car, had felt so loose too..now its fine. No haven't yet put oil on hood catch yet but will soon. Ty Govan🙂
