Do you ever use trust and/or use Carfax?

Their vehicle history reports seem to be kind of inconsistent as far as details go. On some they show the work that was performed for every service appointment and if something was repaired/replaced, but on others you will just see nothing except "Vehicle serviced".

And how do we know that every garage and everybody who worked on the car reported it. I assume it’s not a guarantee.

And if anything is made wrong from the beginning it’s made wrong and nothing anybody can do about it.

Somebody can have a car and have no problems with it and somebody else can have the same exact car And have nothing but problems with it.

@Jonjdw Exactly. A vehicle could have had a serious enough issue that may have required an engine rebuild or replacement, for example That is definitely something that I would like to know about.

I use it in part. But as you say, it's not always a complete picture.

Like all online sales. It's a scam we. Fixing one that was bought online sposed to b damage free. Replaced bumper and right fender. Carfav paying or they lose that sale and get sued
