I want my 1979 AMC back!
It was so cheap and easy to maintain, and it got better gas mileage than modern cars!🤬🤬
All this tech in our vehicles and they all get shit mileage compared to what's possible! I've had better mileage from several older vehicles that I have driven, My 30 plus year old Jeep, for example, gets better mileage than the mid 2000's Hyundai parked next to it, and they both run a six cylinder.
All this tech and they are LESS reliable!🤬🤬🤬 We have ten thousand times more points of failure!
Granted, I was a mechanic, so my vehicles are always super tuned to perfection, but that shouldn't matter!
The parts for newer cars are so EXPENSIVE!!!! And they are more likely to fail.
