Any neurodivergents here who had a hard time learning how to drive?

i didnt start driving till i was 19 probably. i felt embarassed telling people i didnt have a license and guilty when coworkers offered to drive me home 😭 so my friend taught me. driving itself wasn't necessarily hard to learn but it was easy to feel anxious on the road with other people

@Frostcloud I relate so much. Did you do anything specifically to help you with the anxiety? How did you overcome it?

@SWUser193 what nadie said, planning routes. i'd look at maps before i would go. if i could, sometimes id do a "practice drive" to a location with a friend in the car so i could physically see where i need to go later and see what the parking situation is
