Would you trust a Telsa car, or Tesla taxi, or Tesla truck?

If you owned one (or were forced to have one), would you actively defeat the cellphone network radio hardware that is used for back-to-base monitoring and collection of telematics data, plus both forced and optional over-the-air firmware updates?

Would you still trust it when operating in semi autonomous (level 3 or 4) or fully autonomous mode (level 5)? Would you trust it inherently and *fully disconnect* from having situational awareness?

Will electric cars in general become just like mobile phones and PC's where most people just accept being 'connected' with a fair portion of users actively reject/disable all connectivity to the internet and internet of things, etc.?

PS. The concept of autonomous driverless taxis reminds me of the Johnny Cab in Total Recall. Very blade runner-ish too. 'Trust In The Technology' because you as an individual can't be trusted and must instead be controlled.
i prefer gas powered cars.
I had an electric car for a short period of time, it was brand new, the most problematic car I ever had, I will never buy one again

No,you are driving inside the equivalent of a microwave.
No. I hate the idea of being a prisoner of Elon. I'd rather not.
