Home in a van

Could anyone tell me how much it would cost to make a van into a home. I know it won’t be cheap but any advice into spending little a possible would be good.
It's eighty for a 100 watt solar panel, about eighty for the battery power station you'll plug into.
Twenty for a camp stove, you probably have a coffee service and thermos, but a filter method is good,
Twenty for one mattress pad, and you should measure and size the plywood or something to make a flat bed. Two twenty dollar memory foam pads works for me.
The insulation I use is reflectix, about twenty five dollars would do that ceiling and make shades for all the windows, something you want to do. Duck tape is good for putting up the insulation, resist getting on the windows, but the insulation called reflectix will sit against the window without if you cut it the right size.
A ten dollar USB air filter is important.
Sleeping bags, at least two, are around twenty dollars.
You should figure out how to remove seats yourself, borrow a wrench or get one cheap, dollar store or Walmart.
A bucket toilet with lots of bags and a can with a lid to store the full ones is okay, you can throw them away in parks where people curb their dogs and you're being a great neighbor.
It depends on what you're looking for. If you want a "home", then you're probably looking at a 'Sprinter' style van. I've seen them complete with a shower and toilet; but they cost a pretty penny. The more amenities you take out, the more affordable it would be.

I agree, if you are trying to do it yourself, definitely consider having a professional do electrical, especially if adding solar panels. Also depends on where you live. If you need to be able to live in it in the winter, then like a RV it will need to be "winterized".

Depends if you'll be doing a majority of the interior conversion yourself or outsourcing the work that needs to be done. If you are comfortable with carpentry. You can save a ton and build to suit. However, I suggest getting the electrical done professionally. Also try to source parts that you can repurpose. That'll save you money also.
Depends, minivan throwing a mattress in? Tear the seats out build a wooden frame to keep it level and put a mattress on it.

Full size van with shelves, a few dollars more depending on if you can get free wood or not.

Something with plumbing, running water, toilet, stove etc. not sure, talk to a conversion shop
