@Tetsuya Totaled out or required to be taken off the road for extensive repair. Really it's up to you how you want to define it. I don't count the lay downs on the bike which resulted in a few scrapes, I do count the deer strikes which sent my vehicle to the body shop for a week or two.

@GerOttman the one I am on the fence about was a 74 Dodge dart that blew the rear diff< at the time it was more expensive to replace than what I paid for the car ($400)
