If EVs were really an innovation, the state wouldn’t have to bribe and force companies to produce them.

it’s increasingly clear that the only reason giant rent-seeking carmakers are so heavily invested in EV development is that government is promising to artificially limit the production of gas-powered cars.

Solar power plants are expensive too. Even more so when they get destroyed by a hail storm like the one near Scott’s Bluff, Nebraska this week

@4meAndyou I have thought about hail damage when I see solar panels on house roofs around here. We have a lot of storms here

@cherokeepatti I spent every summer on my grandfather's farm near there. Even I could have told them that you can't have glass to that extent in areas subject to crop destroying hail storms.
