I spent years working on cars and it sucks to get treated like meat when you’re capable and courageous enough to learn something that is traditionally male dominated. I tried really hard to make it no big deal but men couldn’t handle it. They either hated me or objectified me. I couldn’t even fight it back then.
@SW-User Oh, please let me apologize to you. I totally feel your pain, but I honor your skills and knowledge. If it was built from 1979 down I would tackle it myself, but from 1980 on I have to use a person with your knowledge and skills. I could care less if the mechanic was male or female, just able to fix what I broke/broken down on me.
I am good carpenter and have zero electrical skills, limited mechanical skills and limited plumbing skills, but good forestry and livestock skills, and tons of military and self-defense skills, while learning other things as well.
Truly I do apologize for any offense to you and your skill sets and gender, sorry.
