Can you drive an Drive an American car on European roads?

Suppose you were wealthy and lived in a country like Italy or France.If you wanted to drive an American style car(Nissan,Hayndi,Ford,Honda),would it be legal to do so?Are there dealerships that sell them or would you have to have imported in?

You should check out the British show Top Gear. They drove American cars all through Europe. Of course with the steering wheel being on the opposite side to everyone elses they had trouble with overtaking. But that was about it.

@Thevy29 Not every country in Europe have roads like the British do. Germany for one has roads like the US.

@dakotaviper Top Gear loves driving through Germany cause of their Oban. They have also been through France, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Scotland, Iraq, Iran, Vietnam, America, Australia, New Zealand.

@Thevy29 yes I Know that. I've watched Top Gear several times. What I was saying is that there are many countries that drive on the same side of the road as we do here in the USA.
