Won't catch my childhood friend this time
Whenever I go back to my hometown, I try to tell my long time bestie, so she can make the three hour drive and we can catch up and see all her family too (I was an honorary "kid two" and got an easter basket and christmas gifts and everything).
Well I thought I was making a trip to a different state with my family. Plans fell through, but I still have the flight most of the way there. So I guess I'm going back.
My bestie is going on vacation that same week so I won't catch her this time around. :( I told her I'd for sure be back next May for graduation weekend, but she's a teacher, so she has to stay home that weekend for graduation too. I'll just have to extend my stay a bit. :p
