Grand Circle European river cruises and an Overseas Adventure Travel small ship ocean cruise. These are very small ships--the ones we were on ranged from 48 to 136 passengers! They cost more than the huge ocean liners most people cruise on. We've loved most of them, but Budapest to the Black Sea was a goody. Also the ocean cruise in the Adriatic. Anything that stops in Croatia is good. Transylvania was amazing, too (there is a fair amount of time on buses and in hotels in addition to the time on the water).

I have only been on Carnival to the West Caribbean. My wife also cruised on Princess to the same area and liked it better than Carnival.

Yep we have only used Norwegian. First one went to the Bahamas. Second went to Costa Maya, Honduras, Belize, Cozumel. Third went to Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, Antigua, St Maarten, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic. About to go on forth in May to Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cozumel. They were all a blast but favorites were Honduras and Dominican Republic

I did an Alaska cruise on Holland America. It was great! Not a party boat—very civilized. Incredible scenery. But dress warmly!

I've never been on a cruise, too much fear ever since the titanic 😩✨
