Vacation for me is outdoor wilderness stuff, the only thing scheduled is LEAVING ON TIME!!!!!

@Musicman Can't afford a long trip this year, hopefully I can get up to Sespe for a few days and run around. I've been going there so long the rangers ignore me, even when the conservation areas were closed they let have free run.
If they know you won't make a mess and tear things up they leave you alone.🤓

@Musicman Familiar places have comforts too! Such as sweet potatoes that someone left to grow years ago... (not me).
I know where the quick and dirty fishing spots are, so more time for exploring. Even though I've been going there for ages, there are always unexplored spots.
Several times in the high country we've been sitting right next to dino eggs or petroglyphs. Going off trail is always more fun.
