When we're out in public

Whenever Joel and I are out in public we always try to be respectful. I get that not everybody is okay with our way of life. And we try to keep the PDA to a minimum if any at all. It's just easier that way sometimes. But we were out getting lunch and we stopped at a little restaurant it wasn't very crowded and they had seating outside which was even less crowded. So we asked to sit out there. Mostly because it's easier for me to be outside. I could tell Joel's left hand was really bothering him..

After we placed our order I I took Joel's left hand and started massaging the palm of it. His hand is really hurting him from all the riding. That's it that's all I was doing. A few minutes later the waiter came over and said that this was a family-friendly restaurant and they would appreciate it if we would not do things like that in public.

Needless to say we did not stay and eat there. Joel even asked to see the manager but of course there wasn't one on shift supposedly. Joel said some very strong things as we walked out and I might have had a few outbursts that slipped out as well.

We found a place about a mile down the road that had way better food and service.

It's so disappointing to hear that some people, probably far too many, still treat others this way.

@Mordechai yeah it is. And like I said all I was doing was rubbing the palm of his hand.
