are we altering the evolutionary growth of grass by mowing and watering our lawns?

In the future, will grass only grow so high because of hundreds or thousands of years of us beating it down with blades?

Noooooooooooo. The seeds are pre programmed to keep growing until we slash them down.

No. The more you trim, the more lush it grows.
And grass was only ever meant to be so high.
Animals eat grass and cut it shorter than we do,grass will be fine.

There will be mutant grass monsters that will rise up against the lawnmowers and steal our bacon. ┬┴┬┴┤•O•ʔ
