Does everyone automatically go to Heaven when they die?

you also have to understand the bible language and the era. Rape is maybe not rape but means ''sexual relationships", and six days is not 6 X 24 hours, but could be much longer because for God, his time is not our time. Stoned to death or crucified is of that era. hanging the blanket and showing the blood stain to everyone to prove your wife was a virgin, again of that era. You have to understand the times. Not all parts of the Bible are to be taken literally. Better to speak to a person of the domain to not misinterpret the bible. Lots of paraboles in there, lots of things that can easily be misunderstood and scary if everything is taken literally.
