There is no heaven, and thank goodness.
@LucyRocks: sad sad sad that you have no faith.

@thinkbigaboutlife: Sadness for others is relative. I'm sad that you believe- but if you wish to then enjoy it.

@thinkbigaboutlife:
@LucyRocks: It is biblical that not everyone will believe or go to Heaven. Funny the ones that don't believe are the ones most offended by these statements. I find that very interesting.

@Caligirl: i dont belive because i have read the bible many times, i have been to biblical study groups and school, and the world has been here for millins of years, but christianity only a few thousands why didnt god appear before this
@buddyhally: I know this question was not addressed to me, but allow me to give my two cents to your question.

Interesting point you brought up but let me try to answer too.

If Christianity only existed a couple thousand years, it does not mean that God did not exist before then. God was before everything. Humanity was not in existence since millions of years. Therefore, God could have not been "known" to humanity for millions of years.

In the beginning of the Creation, God spoke directly to Adam and Eve, and has spoken to others throughout history, but it is only much later (aka new testament), that he decided to send his Son, Jesus, as a cell, to start his life in the womb of a virgin, Mary, to be born, grow, so that he could teach the world about God for the next 33 years.

I'm no expert by no means, but it's the general idea.

I am sure you can get a more detailed answer by doing research online or talking to a professional of the domain.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels[c] of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
you also have to understand the bible language and the era. Rape is maybe not rape but means ''sexual relationships", and six days is not 6 X 24 hours, but could be much longer because for God, his time is not our time. Stoned to death or crucified is of that era. hanging the blanket and showing the blood stain to everyone to prove your wife was a virgin, again of that era. You have to understand the times. Not all parts of the Bible are to be taken literally. Better to speak to a person of the domain to not misinterpret the bible. Lots of paraboles in there, lots of things that can easily be misunderstood and scary if everything is taken literally.
