I've said it about grape tomatoes and also vine-ripe tomatoes picked from the garden and eaten right there.

i've grown tomatoes, i grew them for years. but they always just tasted like tomatoes... i mean if i grew a tomatoe that tasted like a cross between a strawberry and a watermelon, sure, my mind would be blown... but even the freshest and ripest tomatoes don't do it for me
