i grew tomatoes for years, and i have never had one that made me say "this is the best tomato i've ever had"

@reubles: you've got the wrong climate way up there. Our tomatoes are way better down here because the of the heat.

i've grown tomatoes, i grew them for years. but they always just tasted like tomatoes... i mean if i grew a tomatoe that tasted like a cross between a strawberry and a watermelon, sure, my mind would be blown... but even the freshest and ripest tomatoes don't do it for me

I had a BLT with fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese the other night. OMG. It was freaking amazing.

all tomatoes are overrated... you can't say that about a peach or a pear... you know a fruit has it bad when you'd rather have it in sauced form or turned into ketchup
