I think he would have made a giant meteor come crashing down and start over

speaking of that, did you hear that a large meteor passed between the earth and the moon twice this month?
SW-User
@couchpotato: interesting , no I didn't know this
couchpotato · M
@Chernobylplayground: yeah, they said the first one was as big as a building, but the second one was only about 18-40 feet across...just read about it yesterday...geez, thanks NASA for letting us know, not that we could do anything about it...maybe that's why the kept it hush hush...not to cause worldwide panic

Clinton, I think. Jesus surely hates the greedy, anti-socialist Republicans.
TexChik · F
Right ... it was greedy Republicans that jacked up the debt while doing nothing as radical muzzies murdered Christians ...🙄

Trump is richer than every former president combined. The Bible doesn't really mince words when it comes to the wealthy
I would say Trump even though, Jesus was more of a pure communist than anything else and so was the early Christian Church. Jesus was a 'matter of fact' person. He had no problem with Caesar or paying taxes. He had the biggest problem with 'religious people'. He even gave Pilate a break on that! Jesus said, "I would that you were hot or cold, but if you are 'lukewarm' I will spit you out" Hillary was 'squirrelly'. She was as 'lukewarm' as a person can get.
FunKingPizzaShip · M
I'm going to do what you asked me not to do and say that Jesus would no have voted.
Matthew 22:17-21
17 "Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?” 18 But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, “Why put me to the test, you hypocrites? 19 Show me the coin for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius 20 And Jesus said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” 21 They said, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

@Allelse: No he said give to Caesar what is Caesars and give to God what is Gods. Jesus paid taxes while working as a carpenter.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@msvirginia: I'm glad because there is no excuse for tax evasion!
doughgirl · 51-55, F
@Allelse: That excuse wouldn't work with the IRS so don't worry about using it...lol
softspokenman · M
Jesus was a social activist, He loved other people, believed in helping others and to tell the truth, not to cheat or steal, that everyone was equal and we should take care of each other. I don't think Jesus would have voted.
TexChik · F
@softspokenman: was, would ?
softspokenman · M
@TexChik: I don't want to misinterpret your reply. ?
TexChik · F
@softspokenman: you speak of Jesus in the past tense
softspokenman · M
Jesus was a Social activist, not the only one at the time, but he defied the self appointed "god" too many times and was punished like a criminal, hung on a cross, out on the side of the main road into the city, like others, as punishment and as a warning to others entering the city. He would have protested against them because of their greed and deceitfulness.
softspokenman · M
@TexChik: Then what's the problem ?
TexChik · F
@softspokenman: oh you take offense that I disagree with your opinion?
softspokenman · M
I'm not offended, I do think that you assume too much about me though.
ExploringThoughts · 36-40, M
Well... considering Jesus isn't a US citizen, he probably would have a hard time voting even if he did favor a candidate.
Allelse · 36-40, M
They'd round him up for being an illegal immigrant.
Pfuzylogic · M
Hillary, she is less vulgar and her face is more real.
I don't think that his current bromance with Putin would be approved either.

I cannot answer then, because I honestly believe it would be neither...in my understand Christ had every right to be king of the world but declined it..."my kingdom is not of this world..." Although He nor his followers had voted in a caesar he still said you should pay your taxes to him.
He was interested more in people and their problems than in politics of the state or the church

Well he's a hippy so he'd probably have abstained while sitting around with his buddies smoking pot up in the hills somewhere.
TexChik · F
Trump , the absolute outsider ... hated by the libs because he dared to speak out . The libs had pre ordained Hillary as the next president and had spent millions on the attack machine media in preparation to destroy any opponent . And yet Trump weathered the blistering attacks , the cheating by the libs during the debates , the women paid by the libs to bear false witness against him... and yet , he's still won . It's clearly obvious who Jesus did support and continues to support
He already did.
Allelse · 36-40, M
And who'd he vote for?
The winner.
ExploringThoughts · 36-40, M
@jjoe01: Jesus voted for oligarchy, yes.

@TexChik: Unfortunately, today, Trump's morals go against American main stream. Hard work, education, discipline, long hours, risk, and not expecting handouts....those are all reasons why people are crying. America may not be the "nanny state" that it was for the last 8 years...
TexChik · F
@msvirginia: the American mainstream is NOT what the media says it is ...
doughgirl · 51-55, F
@TexChik: thankfully not...the election proved it.

Jesus was a social activist, was against the establishment that eventually arrested and crucified him. I think he would have voted for Sanders.
SW-User
He wouldn't have been able to vote being an illegal immigrant. And if he were a citizen he wouldn't have voted for either candidate.
HelpIsNotOnItsWay · 26-30, F
Jesus did vote and he voted for Hillary. Unfortunately, he was caught before his vote could be counted and sent back to Mexico.
Motosh72 · 51-55, M
HE would have to vote for Hillary. As much as HE may not like to, HE would never vote for satan.....
inaccessible · 51-55, M
I guess Jesus would say : "ugh , crazy crocodile is better than a sneaky snake" and then he would choose trump
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
I honestly think Jesus would have voted for Gary Johnson over Clinton or Trump. I did.
