@sstronaut that’s hilarious, funny thing is our neighbor has 5 sheep and I thought asking him to bring them over for a few hours lol
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@RebelRaven People rent out their goats literally for mowing lawns here, so, it wouldn't exactly be an odd thing to ask! But I don't know if sheep are different, efficiency wise, guess they could be

@Notsimilarreally If a portion of our fence hadn’t blown down in that one windstorm I would totally ask him.

Exmark is what I have. I love it.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@DareDevil those look pretty cool, expensive though.

@RebelRaven Some can be. I have over 3 acres to mow so it’s a time saver.

@beermeplease that’s a nice sized yard. We have just under 1/2 acre.

@RebelRaven i can see why you'd want a ride on mower....especially in the hot sun.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@beermeplease ya fuck that, used a self propelled one the first few years and had a ride on for the last 16.

I don't have one, but I'm from Iowa. Get A John Deere.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@SleepingWithGhosts I thought about that, I should look at them too. ☺

I second the Exmark suggestion. I've had one for 20 years now. Put close to 900 hours on it and it's been good. I wanted a heavy duty one as I was hoping it was the last one I had to buy. So much of what's made for the consumer market is kind of flimsy and prone to break after while. I mow ~3 acres but this thing reduced my mowing time over the John Deere riding tractor I had before. It'll mow faster than I care to ride on it. 🤣

I bought a murray in the early 2000s because it was cheap, mow an hour every week and it's still mowing.
Never thought it would last 4 yrs.

I have a Husqvarna and it’s been good. Main issue though is I’ve had to get the mowing deck fixed twice in 5 years. The frame on the deck isn’t as sturdy as others from what I gather.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@BillyMack thank you for that information. ☺
