Have you ever found an old journal and cringed at your past self, but also felt proud of how much you've grown over the years?

I haven't found old journals, as I don't have a very exciting life to justify journaling, but I have found old fiction writing pieces that I did in my early twenties that I was less than crazy about. I think that I am better at writing now than I might have been fifteen years ago.
