Have you ever seen someone go overboard with food at an all-you-can-eat buffet?

Do you feel your country still represents the true spirit of democracy? Why or why not?
If I listen to BBC World Service live every day and read BBC articles, will I learn English? Or do I also need to buy lots of grammar and vocabulary books from the bookstore and hire a private English teacher?
