How do you handle unsolicited advice from people who misunderstand your age or capabilities?

@KeepYourEyesPeeled sadly like sites like this one if pose a question on irrespective people may not have all the facts as you rightly say . maybe with perfectly good intention your problem becomes then theirs if you let people in with advice
