That happened to me on another social site. For the first couple of years I loathed the guy's sarcastic idea of humor..
Later, I discovered he was kind to many, tolerant to those he disagreed with, and intelligent.

Sure. I think we can end up truly liking someone we didn't like in the beginning and defo vice versa too.
Maybe it's more about perception. We are faceted not black and white, right?

It’s happened quite a few times. There have been times where my first instinct ended up being correct but it took me a while to realize it, and other times where i was thoroughly proven wrong

It's a combination of both but usually if a bad person doesn't like someone then the other person must be good but then eventually if the bad person starts liking them then that means the bad person has a poor taste in life 😀
