They never should have been placed together in 1948!
And the only solution now is to let them fight it out without anyone else's help. Embargo the whole region if we can.
This giving weapons to one side and humanitarian aid to the other is pure INSANITY!

@DeWayfarer It should not be forgotten that Israel was founded was founded by a terrorist organisation. That doesn't make Hamas any better, but there are extremists on both sides and, like many, I feel I'm giving up on there ever being peace in the Middle East. And yes, it's high time guilt from the Holocaust stopped pushing the USA, UK, etc., into supplying Israel with weapons.

@Bellatrix2024 Actually they are Freedom Fighters and have been recognised as such by no less than the UN. Israel is illegally occupying Palestinian lands. It needs to go home.

Netanyahu has succeeded in guaranteeing that hatred for Israel will blossom.
Every survivor in Gaza....men, women, and especially the surviving children...those who grew up with knowledge of only war and killing....will have nothing but severe hate for Bibi and Israel, and perhaps the United States.
Even those in Israel are protesting Netanyahu and his failure to end the war and bring the hostages home.
