Of course we know by now that US history is often fabricated. I understand why a Native American person would be offended by this holiday. Nevermind the privilege and benefits they may have today. The truth is that we need not try to tell others how they should feel about their past. More often than not some still feel the pain of the past and the current issues with race today, only pours salt on the wound. 🧂 The Natives are a forgotten people. We should never forget what they have endured regardless of what you are personally. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving ? If so, then why or why not. 🤔

i haven't had a family thanksgiving in over a decade. and since my mom died i don't even talk to my father or siblings. this year i'm spending the holiday alone, binge watching some series and eat takeout all day
