Have you ever found a mouse in your car?

Today I was going back to my car after taking my daily walk in the park. When I got in, before I even started the engine, I could tell something was scurrying along the floor. Sure enough, there he was, frantically trying to get away from me. So I got out and opened all the doors and out he jumped out and went along his way. I got to thinking. This should be a more common occurance than you think because mice are always seeking shelter and cars should be easy enough for something that small to get into.

We used to see them in the garage all the time before getting these sonic plug in mouse traps. My mechanic did find 2 dead ones, plus nesting material, in the engine of one of my cars 2 years ago. The car is dead in my driveway right now, and it could be due to another mouse attack. 馃槓

@geoam1 Yes, that's what the mechanic at AAMCO told me. I had never heard of such a thing before, but apparently, there is biodegradable material on the wires that attracts mice.

Yeah. After harvest time we get a plague of mice. They get into everywhere. There's usually so many even the cats stop eating them.

@Thevy29 My neighbor's cat did a good job of keeping the mouse population down here for many years. Now that she's gone, I have to rely on traps and more traps.

Never a mouse, but plenty of spiders.
