deep, dark clouds.... it's like night came early. rolling thunder in the distance, after it had been raining from every direction, even upwards. i can hear some birds now, so i think it's stopped

Spring comes in fits and starts here. Last week was a lovely week in the 70s. Today it’s a wind chill of 22 and snow is on the way. Not so bad when you know it won’t last but it is sad for all the song birds and flowers that have started showing up.

Yesterday was oddly hot 91degrees, and night time it stayed real hot 🥵

It was beautiful over the weekend - it was 30* Celsius. We’ve never had temps like that in April before.

Back to more seasonal weather this week - 10* Celsius and rain.

Spring is always a great season. It is even more pronounced the further north you go when you transition from snow to bare ground and the first blooms of crocus, snowdrops, and daffodils. We have just started the daffodil season, and it is rainy and 55 after four days of record highs of 85-87. Good planting weather. I just put in three new blueberry bushes.
