Did you ever have a friend who only contacts you when they need something?

A person who I thought was my friend. But only contacted me when needing something, or to tell me about something cool in life. But I told this person on a text message why I stopped talking to them, the reasons mentioned above. I just said, as a closure after that, “Your idea of friendship isn’t mine.” I am not sure I share your vision of what a real friendship truly means or is supposed to be like.
