Would u feel hurt if SW were to shut down for good ? ✨🤔✨

Good question. How many of you here were on the last site known as EP ?
It was such a wonderful social medai outlet, wasn't it.
And lets be honest, most of us miss it deeply.
But what about SW ?
It may not be the same bucket of chicken.
But can you imagine what life would be like without her.
Where would you go ? What would you do ? Even if you have your contacts outside of the site, it wouldnt be the same.
Think about that.
Would you feel hurt or disappointed if SW were to shut down for good.
Give me your honest answer here. Best answer wins. Thank you.

When EP shut down, it felt like some form of betrayal. From whom, I don't know, lol. I just know it felt like that. And it hurt like a heart break. But I think I was also going through a lot of personal issues at the time and EP was my sanctity. Or a friend on EP who had really helped me through was.
If SW shuts down, I'll move on much faster. At some point whatever all this is won't be sustainable.

This isn’t the same. SW never quite managed to feel like EP did, and it has just gone downhill for me with all the political hatred and division. I would miss the ones I care about, but I’d probably just ramble on a blog somewhere as needed and focus on my hobbies. I wouldn’t try to find a similar replacement again.

EP was different. Maybe it was the time in my life when I was on EP that was different. I didn’t miss it as much as I thought I would because I was able to prepare for that ending by closing my account first.

With SW, I’d move on. The friends I care about have other ways of communicating with me.

As long as they made a new site I would be fine lolz. I made the mistake of not transferring my account from ep. I feel like this website is almost a journal or diary for me lol

I wouldn't miss it at all if it shut down. I honestly no longer have an emotional connection with this site. I don't feel like its a good fit for me anymore.

I would just go back to FB. I have been trying to delete everything i have here. Sometimes i get sidetracked when i see a post and forget what i am doing.

For those that need a place like this i hope it never comes to that

I was on EP and enjoyed the content better than SW. I honestly feel the people were more genuine and the relationships closer.

SW is really akin to EP only with ADHD added. Everything is meant to have a half life of mere seconds.

If SW closed, it would be replaced. Wherever the new site was, I’d join. Would I be hurt?
Definitely no, I’d just be disappointed to have to start over.

@Adogslife I believe we as people need to examine our own self behaviors and take responsibility. Too many broken souls on this site now. And many are just allowing themselves to get worse over time rather than get better. It's called growth.

@Zonuss I’m don’t pay attention enough to notice the broken souls, but I believe you. Therapy would serve them well, as would getting out into the sun, exercise and diet.

It would leave a hole in my online life, I would certainly be disappointed. So far it is the social media site that suits me best. I would start looking for an alternative, but more importantly I would hope that we would get enough warning to allow us time to ask our SW friends for alternative ways to contact them.

I'd be very disappointed, but as long as someone from SW went out and started a similar site, like EP members did with SW, I'm sure I would follow everyone there.
If not, I would try other similar sites, but if none compared, I just wouldn't do Social Media.

I am sure there wud be something else when SW is gone.
There is less substance here with the passing time which is why the site should be closed for good before it dies miserably.
I lived before logging in too and would survive post it is gone.
Nothing stops!
